International language and cultural mediation (Bachelor)

Hessen International University presents an internationally oriented program that seamlessly integrates didactic-pedagogical studies with an exploration of French language, culture, and an additional chosen language. Moreover, students have the opportunity to apply for the binational Bachelor’s program “KulturA” offered by the German-French University as part of this program.

This study program is notable for its strong practical orientation, offering students a comprehensive view of knowledge transfer that extends beyond the confines of the school sector. Beyond the didactic-pedagogical component, students elect to study French and another language from a selection of Spanish, English, or German. An integral part of the program involves an immersive study period at a university located in a French- or Spanish-speaking cultural context.

For students with a mandatory focus on French, an additional avenue opens up — the option to apply for the bachelor’s degree program in “CultureA.” This distinctive path presents a binational educational journey facilitated by the German-French University (DFH). Graduates of this program are conferred with three degrees along with a certificate from the DFH. Moreover, they gain access to DFH-organized job fairs and receive financial support for a year-long sojourn at the partner university in Angers, France. The program also provides entry into the extensive DFH graduate network, fostering invaluable professional connections.
